Understanding Maintenance Cleaning
Regular Maintenance Cleaning is not a lighter version of a deep clean — it is a fundamentally different discipline. While a Deep Clean is a corrective service designed to restore a home to its peak condition, Maintenance Cleaning is the preventive system designed to keep it there.
Our service operates on a structured, recurring schedule — weekly, biweekly, or monthly — to manage dust, sanitize high-touch surfaces, and maintain order before accumulation can begin. This consistent rhythm prevents the natural decline that occurs in every occupied home, ensuring your space remains guest-ready at all times.
Based in North Hollywood and serving refined homes across Los Angeles — including Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Toluca Lake, Encino, Valley Village, and Burbank — our maintenance service is designed as a structured protocol, not a basic checklist.
What Each Visit Covers
Each maintenance visit follows a structured protocol focused on the primary living areas and visible surfaces of your home. Every surface is addressed with the specificity its material demands.
All Areas
Flooring vacuumed and/or mopped. Cobwebs removed. Light dusting of baseboards, windowsills, blinds, air vents, and reachable light fixtures and ceiling fans. Trash emptied throughout.
Kitchen
Countertops and backsplash cleaned. Sinks scrubbed and sanitized. Exterior of all appliances wiped down. Stovetop cleaned. Cabinet fronts wiped. Hardware lightly polished.
Bathrooms
Toilets, showers, and tubs scrubbed and sanitized. Sinks, counters, and mirrors cleaned and polished. Fixtures shined. Floor mopped. Towels folded if requested.
Bedrooms & Living Areas
All surfaces dusted. Mirrors cleaned. Beds made if requested. Light straightening of pillows and throws. Door and window tracks given light detail.
What Maintenance Cleaning Does Not Include
To ensure a clear understanding of our service, it is important to define what falls outside the scope of a standard maintenance visit. These tasks are typically addressed in a Deep Clean or as specific add-on services.
- Interior of oven, refrigerator, or dishwasher
- Interior of cabinets and drawers
- Washing of interior or exterior windows
- Scrubbing of walls or extensive spot removal
- Moving heavy furniture to clean behind or underneath
- Detailed grout scrubbing in kitchens or bathrooms
- Carpet shampooing or upholstery steam cleaning
- Management of clutter, dishes, or laundry
- Exterior areas such as garages, patios, or balconies
Many of these items are available as add-ons or are included in our Deep Cleaning and Initial Deep Cleaning services.
The Initial Deep Clean Foundation
In alignment with industry best practices, we require all new recurring clients to begin with an Initial Deep Clean. This foundational service removes the built-up grime, dust, and soil that routine maintenance is not designed to tackle. It establishes a true, professional-grade baseline of clean.
Why It Matters
Without a proper baseline, maintenance cleaning operates on top of existing buildup. The initial deep clean removes that layer, allowing each subsequent maintenance visit to be maximally effective.
Protecting Your Investment
Once the baseline is set, our recurring maintenance preserves it visit after visit. This approach protects the investment you made in the initial service and keeps your home at a consistent standard.
Seamless Transition
After your initial deep clean, we schedule your first maintenance visit within the same week. From that point forward, your home is on a structured, recurring protocol with no gaps in care.
Choosing Your Maintenance Frequency
We offer three scheduling frequencies to match your household's unique rhythm. Recurring clients receive priority scheduling and preferred pricing.
Weekly
PREFERRED CLIENT PRICINGThe highest level of care. Ideal for large families, homes with pets, or clients who desire a perpetually pristine environment. This frequency prevents any significant buildup and qualifies for our best available rate.
Biweekly
MOST POPULAROur most popular option. It provides an ideal balance of consistent cleanliness and value for most active households, preventing the accumulation of dust and grime before it becomes noticeable.
Monthly
STANDARD MAINTENANCEBest suited for smaller homes, single individuals, or clients who do light upkeep between visits. This service addresses a month of accumulation and restores the home to its baseline.
Designed for Homes That Value Consistency
Our Regular Maintenance service is tailored for clients who understand that luxury is found in consistency.
Busy Professionals & Active Families
For households where demanding schedules leave little time for the structured upkeep required to maintain a pristine environment. Our recurring service ensures your home is always guest-ready.
Owners of Second Homes
We ensure your property is maintained and guest-ready between visits, preventing the dust and stagnation that occurs in unoccupied homes. Your second home is always ready when you arrive.
Post-Deep-Clean Preservation
You have already invested in an Initial Deep Clean to reset your home's baseline. Our maintenance service is the system that protects that investment, keeping every surface at the standard it was restored to.
Health-Conscious Households
Consistent, professional cleaning reduces allergens, bacteria, and viruses on high-touch surfaces, contributing to a healthier indoor environment. Ideal for homes with young children, elderly residents, or allergy sensitivities.
Pet-Friendly Homes Welcome
We understand that pets are part of the household. Our maintenance protocol accounts for the realities of living with animals — without compromising on the standard of care your home receives. We use pet-safe, non-toxic products and adjust our approach based on your home's specific needs.
- Routine pet hair management across all primary surfaces
- Respectful cleaning around pet zones, beds, and feeding areas
- Surface care in high-traffic areas where wear accumulates faster
- Awareness of sensitive finishes that require adjusted product selection
Please note: Homes with excessive shedding, strong odor buildup, or long-term accumulation may require an Initial Deep Cleaning before starting recurring maintenance.

What You Should Know
What is the difference between maintenance cleaning and deep cleaning?
They are fundamentally different services. Deep cleaning is a corrective, one-time restoration that addresses concealed areas, buildup, and neglected surfaces. Maintenance cleaning is a preventive, recurring service that preserves your home's condition over time. Think of deep cleaning as resetting the baseline, and maintenance cleaning as keeping it there.
Why do I need an initial deep clean before starting maintenance?
Without a proper baseline, maintenance cleaning operates on top of existing buildup. The initial deep clean removes that layer, allowing each subsequent maintenance visit to be maximally effective. This is an industry best practice followed by all premium cleaning services.
What is included in each maintenance visit?
Each visit covers all primary living surfaces: kitchen countertops, sinks, and appliance exteriors; bathroom sanitization; floor care throughout; dusting of baseboards, air vents, ceiling fans, blinds, windowsills, light fixtures, and hardware. Items like inside ovens, refrigerators, and cabinets are not included but are available as add-ons.
How often should I schedule maintenance cleaning?
We offer weekly, biweekly, and monthly options. Weekly is ideal for large families or homes with pets. Biweekly is our most popular option for active households. Monthly works well for smaller homes or clients who do light upkeep between visits. All recurring clients receive priority scheduling.
What happens if the home's condition exceeds routine maintenance?
If we arrive and the scope exceeds what maintenance can address — for example, after a party, extended absence, or heavy pet accumulation — we will communicate before proceeding. In some cases, a deep cleaning session may be recommended before resuming the maintenance schedule.
Can I add extra services to my regular cleaning?
Yes. Common add-ons include interior oven cleaning, refrigerator detail, interior window cleaning, laundry folding, and cabinet organization. These can be scheduled as recurring additions or one-time requests alongside your maintenance visit.
